ABOUT
COEDWEDD
COMMUNITY HUB
Supporting people of all ages
to help better them selves
for the future.
MEET OUR FOUNDER, JON
In the midst of lockdown, Jon Clarke sought refuge in the idea of building a shed for himself. But as time passed, he realized he needed a purpose beyond his own needs. Instead of focusing on himself, he decided to create a community center to help others like him. He reached out to local companies and residents for input on what the community needed.
Jon, a devoted family man, kept his son in mind throughout the process. The Coedwedd Community Hub became his mission—a place to connect, belong, and make a difference.
THE STORY OF
COEDWEDD
COMMUNITY HUB
Born during lockdown, Coedwedd Community Hub was founded by Jon Clarke. Sustained by the dedication of our volunteers, we nurture not just plants but also the potential within each individual. From teaching the joy of cultivating one's own vegetables to imparting basic DIY skills, we empower our community to thrive. Moreover, we serve as a refuge, offering support for various challenges, be it financial struggles or mental health issues. In our inclusive space, everyone is welcomed with open arms. Together, we grow, learn, and uplift one another, embodying the true essence of community. Lets start off with what the hub was before...

WHAT IS
NEXT FOR
US?
Coedwedd's goals for the future are clear: to be a thriving, fully accessible hub open to everyone, locals and visitors alike, from across South Wales. We aspire to create a welcoming space where people can connect, learn, and grow together. By establishing a strong presence in the community and among local authorities, we aim to become a trusted resource and a go-to destination for connection and enrichment, fostering a sense of belonging for all who walk through our doors.
